International Soca Monarch Semi Finals in The Greens for the first time

After years of being hosted in Arima, the International Soca Monarch Semi Finals will be held for the first time in The Greens at the Queen’s Park Savannah. The move is one that would take the Semi Finals event to another level, described by Chairman Peter Scoon as “The largest Soca Picnic for the season.”

The event is a cooler styled affair featuring a full afternoon of Soca music, as competitors via for places in the Lotto Plus International Power Soca Monarch and the Digicel International Groovy Soca Monarch. Also up for grabs is the Carib Break out Artiste of the Year powered by SLAM, driven by Ford.

With days to the event, the International Soca Monarch has launched an equally large promotion offering patrons purchasing tickets before January 16th the opportunity to buy one and get one free; quite in keeping with the theme Larger Than Life. Gates to The Greens will be opened at 2pm on Sunday January 25th.
