The ISM competition in 2018 will make it 26 years of competition. The competition will be known this year as the Play Whe International Soca Monarch Competition.

This year’s show will be dedicated to Devon Matthews who gave his life to Soca

• Semi Finals: Thursday 25th January Forecourt Queen’s Park Savannah. Time: 6.00 p.m.
• Finalists Announced on Friday 26th January
• Finalists Draw for Appearance: Tuesday 6th February Hyatt Regency, 10.00 a.m.
• Finals: Fantastic Friday 9th February The Hasely Crawford Stadium. Time: 8.00 p.m.

Thirty artistes will be selected from the Preliminaries to perform at the Semi-finals

Ten artistes will be selected from the Semi-finals and one Breakout Artiste will perform in the Finals.

The final results of the competition will be announced immediately after the competition

1st $300,000.
2nd $200,000.
3rd $150,000.
7 Finalists $50,000.
